When we are not out at events, or catering for parties and weddings, Big Pizza Pies hold weekly, pop up Takeaway Nights in a number of local villages in the area. Our local Takeaway Nights mean that we can bring our wood fired pizzas straight to areas that lack traditional takeaways or restaurants. Our customers get artisan pizzas without having to travel far or pay high delivery charges.
Monday nights we travel to the lovely village of Houghton on the outskirts of Carlisle. The village has a number of shops, a church, a primary school and excellent access to Carlisle and the M6. We serve from 5:00pm till 8:30pm every Monday night, so why not drop by and treat yourself to a pizza?
We are currently trialing a Friday night pitch at Low Hesket Village Hall. Low Hesket is a beautiful little village on the A6 between Carlisle and Penrith.
On a Saturday night we can be found in the peaceful village of Warwick Bridge, on the A69 between Carlisle and Brampton. Located along a beautiful stretch of the river Eden and home to the magnificent Warwick Hall, the village has a number of amenities; a post office, Co-Op, petrol station, churches and a small but thriving Business Park. We park our van in the car park at Down-A-Gate Community Centre, a well used local hub for all sorts of activities, and serve from 5:00pm - 8:30pm every Saturday.
Sunday nights we travel to Belah on the western edge of Carlisle. Replacing our previous Kingmoor Road pitch we now trade on a Sunday night from the nearby Belah Centre. We serve from 5:00pm till 8:30pm every Sunday night, so why not drop by and treat yourself to a pizza?
